Notes: Game 1 will start at 5:30 PM.  Game 2 will immediately follow (approx. 6:30 PM) Game 1.  Game 3 will immediately follow (approx. 7:30 PM) Game 2.  Game 4 will immediately follow (approx. 8:30 PM) Game 3.  Teams are to be ready to play as soon as the court becomes available for their game regardless of approximate starting times.  The team listed first will be the home team and will sit on the right side of the scorer’s table.

Rules:

1.      All players must be out of high school.

2.      Any players who are not members of a team’s church must attend that church at a minimum of 3 Sundays during a month.  An exception will be made for players who are members of a church that does not have enough players to form a team.  On the approval of one of the league administrators, those players will be allowed to join another church’s team and still attend their own church

3.      The cost of the referees will be $50 per game.  Each team will be responsible for ½ of that cost - $25.  An entry fee equal to the number of games that each team will play times $25 will be collected from each team before the start of the season.  (Detail: 8 teams will equal 14 regular season games based on playing the other 7 teams twice.  A single-elimination, 8-team postseason tournament will equal 3 postseason games.  17 total games times $25 will equal an entry fee of $425 per each team.  The money collected from the 4 teams not making the semifinals and finals of the postseason tournament, which will equal $200 based on 4 teams times 2 games times $25 per game, will be used to purchases plaques for the postseason tournament and gift certificates for the volunteer clock operator(s) and volunteer scorebook keeper(s).)  Admission will be free.  Ewtonville Baptist Church will cover all utility costs for the gym.  The entry fee of $425 per each team will be collected from each team before the start of the season.

4.      The purposes of the league are to promote Christian fellowship in and among the participating churches, reach lost souls for Jesus Christ, and glorify Him.  In accordance with these purposes, while good, healthy competition is encouraged, poor sportsmanship, such as arguing with the referees or other players, will not be tolerated.  Further, any player or coach receiving a technical foul for misconduct will be suspended for the remainder of that game and one additional game.  Any player or coach receiving a second technical foul for misconduct will be suspended for the remainder of that game and two additional games.  Any player or coach receiving a third technical foul for misconduct will be suspended for the remainder of the season.   

The league will be opened each night with prayer, and teams will be required to assemble at halfcourt after each game for prayer
