What Is a Small Group?
A small group is an intentional gathering of Christians who meet in someone’s home on a regular basis to fellowship, share their lives, pray for and help serve one another’s needs, and engage in life changing, transformational biblical studies.
Who Is a Small Group for?
To put it simply, they are for everyone. We encourage everyone to participate whether you’re younger, older, single, married, widowed, male or female. Small groups offer a great chance to build friendships and get to know others on a deeper level. For younger Christians it can be a great opportunity to learn from more mature believers and grow in your faith. For older more mature followers of Christ you can be a mentor to newer Christians and share your knowledge and life experiences with them.
Small groups allow people to get close enough to know each other, to care and share, to challenge and support, to confide and confess, to forgive and be forgiven, to laugh and weep together, to be accountable to each other, to watch over each other and to grow together. Small groups are God's gift to foster changes in character and spiritual growth.
